Outer Area-Attentive Beauty within the life of an outer area
The outer area I often depict is not simply talking about the spatial existence. What I am trying to depict is the loving time and little warm glimpses of life that exist in our lives.
There always exists a nostalgia in the
time that has already passed. In all that time, I give attentive looks to things
around me.
Absolutely everything is special to me.
I think about where the era we are living today should be going from this kind
of attentiveness of the everyday life.
Lively changes of our lives themselves
become ¡®paintings¡¯.
My ¡®outer place¡¯ is like the blind alley of life but there exists traces of
slow changes of life.
Those changes are not of external ones but they are secretive changes that have
been constructed through the traces and odors of serious life which have been
communicated and compromised with one another.
In those changes, there exists the attentive reality of life.
To me, painting is all about putting the breath of the landscape of that real
life.
